About New Garage (Harnham) in Salisbury

With over 15 years as car repair garage owners in Wiltshire and over 30 years in the car industry, Mark and Elaine Carter have been running New Garage (Harnham) since 2018 and are committed to building on the already enviable reputation of the garage and continuing with investments in the workshop and to improving the overall customer experience.

We know very well that no amount of investment in a workshop can make up for the skill and expertise of a well-trained team of technicians. We pride ourselves on the level of training that all our staff have and we ensure that ongoing education is part of their working week. Owner Mark is an IMI-qualified Advanced Automotive Engineer and one of the very few local technicians qualified to IMI level 4 to service and repair electric vehicles. So well experienced and respected as an EV technician is Mark, that he is now in demand as a trainer in EV repairs and servicing up to IMI level 3, having trained our own technicians at New Garage (Harnham) and several from other garages. Mark also trains fellow technicians in MOT testing and in using diagnostic technology.

With multiple MOT testers and qualified, experienced technicians, we are able to take care of not just your MOT testing but any repairs and servicing needs that your vehicle may have. We know that your car is important to you and it is important to us as well. We deal with every customer honestly and fairly; we don’t sugarcoat any problems but we also don’t create any that don’t exist.

We are open from 08:00 to 17:30 Monday to Friday to serve your car repair needs. If you need your car picked up, a lift home or a courtesy car please let us know and we will do all that we can to assist you.
